The saying "hard work pays off" is especially true for up-and-coming artist Zac Fresh (TGIF Music Group & N.O.Vation Ent ) who has inked a deal with Lisa Thomas of LRT / INgrooves Fontana / Universal Music Group. Fresh entered the industry at the young age of twelve, with his hands on approach of learning the ins and outs of the business, and it helped Zac create his own successful path, skilled with the overall knowledge of the how the music industry really works. Being able to tour with Souljah Boy also assisted him in honing those skills for this present moment in time. After coining a theme song for BET’s flagship show 106 & Park, Zac felt a sense of belonging to the exclusive entertainment family, but trials and tribulations occurred and it spurred doubts of whether to continue. It was his manager "Julius" who inspired and motivated him during those trying times for him to never give up on his dream.
Zac Fresh was then back in action and has never looked back since. He linked up with producer extraordinaire Linx Kanek (Yelawolf) in Atlanta, Georgia who saw his undeniable talent and produced his first hit single "Blame Yo Self" featuring Kanye West's artist, Cyhi The Prynce which is currently impacting radio. Major radio stations in cities such as New Orleans, Memphis, Jackson, Cleveland, Toledo, Biloxi, Ft Wayne and Huntsville all picked up Blame Yo Self. Zac Fresh's YouTube channel is in high demand and he is a featured artist on MTV and VH1 websites and he is current in rotation with MTV Jams. Houston, Texas based producer Trakksounds, who is known for his work with 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Bun-B and Buffalo Stille of Nappy Roots did the official remix to the hit single "Blame Yo Self" which can be heard online.
A team of highly trained media professionals such as Jonathan Hay, Sabrina Hale and Michael Bentley of Hoopla Media Group / Hoopla Worldwide have placed him on all the major websites and blogs, along with helping set up his distribution deal with Universal Music Group. This is just the beginning for what's about to come with Zac and his motivated team consisting of Julius Massalay, Josiah Moss, Carlos "Fingatipz" Walker of TGIF Music Group and Percy T. of N.O.Vation Ent.
A lot of momentum has been added towards the Blame Yo Self campaign from Cyhi The Prynce's G.O.O.D Music release, Cruel Summer that recently just sold over 200K in the first week of release.
