Workforce Monitor Mobile dramatically expands the applications of the Workforce Monitor service throughout the construction industry.
Reston, Virginia (PRWEB) October 19, 2012
ADR Software, LLC today announced the introduction of Workforce Monitor Mobile, a mobile handheld processing solution for its RFID-based Workforce Monitor service. Workforce Monitor Mobile and the ADR mobile handheld monitor expand the application of ADR's Workforce Monitor service, the industry leading labor monitoring service for construction managers. The new mobile handheld device utilizes ADR's proprietary broadband network to capture, process and report in real-time on the comings and goings of workers on construction sites throughout the United States.
"The addition of Workforce Monitor Mobile dramatically expands the applications of the Workforce Monitor service throughout the construction industry," said Bruce Labovitz, ADR Software's President. "With Workforce Monitor Mobile, construction managers can track smaller workforces and smaller projects such as interiors and infrastructure. The mobile capabilities also allow construction managers to track individual workers and small crews as they move in and out of designated areas throughout a project."
"Our first implementation of Workforce Monitor Mobile is on an occupied residential retrofit project in Washington, DC," Labovitz continued. "The general contractor in this case is obligated to monitor and document the comings and goings of workers entering occupied residences throughout the building. We have stationary monitoring portals around the perimeter to monitor workers who come and go from the site and we have broadband-enabled mobile handheld units for the superintendents to use to log workers in and out of the units. All of the data ends up in the same place and is available in real-time to everyone involved with the project through ADR’s Workforce Monitor web application."
