The Fertility Planit Show 2013 Announces Early Bird Registration

The First Consumer Event of Its Kind in the USA ( Welcomes Men and Women Interested in Fertility and Creating Their Own Families

People from all walks of life will be able to get useful information, and have hands-on experiences talking to thought leaders and other consumers about ways to overcome infertility.

Fertility Planit announces that early bird ticket sales are available on Monday, October 8, 2012 for the January 2013 show to be held in Los Angeles at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.

As the first expo of its kind in the U.S., The Fertility Planit Show offers information, support and inspiration to people who are exploring all options for having children and creating a family.

Debuting for the first time in Los Angeles, California on January 12, 2013, The Fertility Planit Show kicks off two days of keynote presentations and panel discussions with some of the world’s leading fertility medicine experts, family building thought leaders and inspirational speakers. The event culminates at the end of the day on January 13, 2013, with a special celebrity guest.

The show will be held online via free live streaming and live web chat, and all programs will be available for download as pod-casts after the show.

Ticket holders get: access to the exhibit hall where sponsors, speakers and experts will offer more information, demos and consultations – plus two 60-minute programs of their choice, and a unique schwag bag with goodies and inserts from sponsors.

Attendance is limited to 1,500 ticket holders, 50 exhibitors, and 50 world class experts, thought leaders and inspirational speakers across fertility medicine, complementary treatments and mind-body-spirit therapies. With such high quality and in demand experts, early bird registration is a must. The organizers have received a great volume of interest and expect to sell out quickly. Attendees will meet top fertility doctors while exploring legal, logistical and mind-body-spirit issues related with building a family. They will hear from yoga and wellness experts, as well as hear personal stories from fertility experts and new parents about their family building journey. Participants will also be able to join the Fertility Planit Show online community before, during and after the show for conversation and support.

About The Founder

Karin Thayer is the Founder/CEO of Fertility Planit. Originally from San Francisco, she earned her BA at Smith College and her MFA at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Her work as a TV producer has taken her all over the world, working with clients such as the BBC, Discovery, PBS and Oxygen Media. Her award winning films have screened at festivals including Sundance, Telluride and the Berlinale.

During a long and challenging journey with trying to have a child, Karin decided to "fly solo" into motherhood. She experienced multiple IVF and IUI treatments, years of acupuncture and mind-body-spirit therapies, and failed pregnancies. Throughout her experience she yearned for a comprehensive online resource which she could customize. Fertility Planit is the resource Karin couldn't find. It's a one-stop shop for people who want to have children and create a family, and for all services that support them. In 2011 Fertility Planit became an Astia Silicon Valley portfolio client.

In 2010, after being told by specialists she would never conceive, Karin got pregnant naturally with a known donor. Her healthy baby boy was born in April 2011. She now wants to help make the path lighter for others.
