Tallahassee, FL (PRWEB) October 02, 2012
Jim's Pianos, a store that specializes in piano sales, service and tuning in Tallahassee, Fla., recently announced its upcoming participation in the Tallahassee Democrat and Tallahassee.com's Go Pink! Campaign, the largest community-wide breast cancer awareness campaign and media event in the Big Bend area. Jim's Pianos will paint a piano pink and welcome donations for the American Cancer Society. From October 4-31, 2012, store visitors are invited to share about the piano to friends on Facebook and Twitter as well as enter a drawing to win the pink piano.
For the entire month of October, the Tallahassee Democrat, Tallahassee.com, The Chronicle and FSView is dedicating itself to a breast cancer awareness and prevention campaign called Go Pink! They will be profiling over 40 local women who want to share their story about having survived breast cancer. Their editorial staff will be working with health care professionals writing many stories throughout the month on prevention and awareness and their calendar will highlight all of the community fund-raising events that support breast cancer awareness.
The Go Pink! Campaign has also enlisted the help of area businesses, asking them to "paint the town pink" on October 4, 2012 and raise support for the campaign. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Joanna Francis Living Well Foundation, which provides a relief fund designed to provide financial assistance for non-medical necessities to women living with breast cancer.
Jim's Piano's is located in the Tallahasse Mall off the Main Entrance of N. Monroe Street. The store open from Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m., Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. and after hours by appointment.
