The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin will be a sponsor for Music for Fences 2012, which will raise money for the Coalition to Unchain Dogs, a non-profit organization that provides fences for dogs that are living continuously chained outdoors.
Music for Fences will take place on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 4 to 10 p.m. at Durham Central Park. The festival will include a concert, vendor booths, raffles and food and drink. Tickets cost $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
All proceeds from Music for Fences will be used to support the Coalition to Unchain Dogs and to provide free spay and neuter services, free vaccinations, and free fences for dogs that are now kept chained.
“We are so pleased to sponsor such a worthwhile event in our community,” said Patent Attorney Tara Williams, who heads the firm’s social services committee. “We hope that this festival can help to improve the welfare of many dogs in the community by educating and supporting their owners.”
Employees with the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin will also be volunteering at the festival.
