Bettcher Industries Appoints New Regional Manager

Steven D. Labbe has been appointed as Bettcher Industries newest Regional Manager. Mr. Labbe will be responsible for sales and service activities for meat processing customers in the Southwest region of the U.S.

Bettcher Industries, Inc. announces that Steven D. Labbe has joined the company as Regional Manager. In this position, Labbe will be responsible for sales and service activities for Bettcher’s Whizard® Trimmer and AirShirz® scissors product lines. He will support meat processing customers in the Southwest region of the United States including Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Southwestern Kansas and West Texas.

Steven Labbe brings a strong background in the meat processing industry to his position at Bettcher Industries, particularly in plant operations, production management, QA/QC and plant safety. During his 25-year career, he has been employed at several important production facilities in the Western United States.

Prior to joining Bettcher Industries, Labbe was plant manager at Double J Meat Packaging in Pierce, CO where he was responsible for planning and managing all business activities within a multi-species plant.

Labbe has also served in production, safety and QA management roles at North American Bison Cooperative/North Dakota Natural Beef, Maverick Ranch Natural Meats, and Mountain City Meat Company. He began his career at ConAgra where he specialized in QA management and production supervision.
