This year, RotaCare is proud to honor Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island (OCLI) with RotaCare’s Community Service Award for their commitment to caring for Long Islanders in need. For many years, OCLI has generously served the Long Island community by routinely providing free medical and surgical care to underserved and uninsured populations. Henry Perry, David Nelson, Eric Donnenfeld, Russell Fumuso, Richard Sturm, Glenn Stoller, John Wittpenn, Gerard D’Aversa, Ronald Caronia, Ken Carnevale, Peter Wong, and Robert Broderick.

“As a longtime supporter of RotaCare, a facilitator of healthcare on Long Island, we are proud to take on a leadership role in funding and equipping the RotaCare volunteers,” said Tom Burke, OCLI’s CEO. “Our goal is to help RotaCare give their patients control over their conditions, preventing unnecessary emergency admission and expensive complications. RotaCare is an extremely important resource to healthcare systems throughout Long Island and functions in collaboration with hospitals, clinics, community-based organizations and other service groups.”

The RotaCare event committee, headed by Peter Marshall, has planned a wonderful evening of dinner and dancing.
