Fairfax, VA (PRWEB) October 04, 2012
Edbacker, a first-of-its-kind funding platform designed specifically for K-12 institutions, and the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) today announced the official start of a three-year partnership in an effort to help schools find funds for important events in their education communities.
Edbacker’s innovative on-line platform helps build relationships between schools and companies to fund events that would otherwise not be possible. As education budgets continue to be reduced, the partnership between edbacker and AASA will provide school administrators the means to find additional funding to better serve their local school systems.
“We are thrilled to be working with AASA,” said Matthew Hartman, CEO of edbacker. “They have a strong commitment to the betterment of schools and ultimately the success of each and every student. By working together to help education leaders essentially learn how to do more with less, we can help bridge a gap left by budget cuts and improve the educational experience for students in America.”
“We welcome Edbacker as a corporate partner. The reality today is that schools are operating on bare bones budgets,” said Daniel A. Domenech Executive Director of AASA. “In some districts even vital programs are being reduced or cut. Edbacker offers schools alternative ways to secure funding for special purpose events, such as community outreach or professional development.”
Edbacker began the first phase of their launch in September 2012 and plan to launch nationally by February 2013.
