Auto Trader, the UK's number one digital marketplace to buy and sell new and used cars, is today launching an online competition where members of the public can win a brand new SEAT Mii all through the power of Twitter.
Today a SEAT Mii will be suspended 35 metres above London’s iconic South Bank and at 12pm the official hashtag for the event, #winMiiwithAT will open to the public. @AutoTrader_UK will then ask entrants to simply tweet why they deserve to drive away with the car.
Only the most entertaining, creative and deserving tweets will be picked, and also have a chance to win one of 35 mystery spot prizes – in celebration of Auto Trader’s 35 year automotive heritage. Winning tweets will help to lower the car and smoke cannons will fire to mark the end of the contest.
The event at Potter’s Field on the South Bank will also be home to a number of attractions during the competition, a 3D artwork giving the illusion that the car is being lifted out of the ground has been created and members of the public will be able to get up close and snap a photo with the car.
New Car Drop is the finale to the Make Your Car a Star - #MyStarCar campaign activity, where Auto Trader produced over 100 personalised videos; complete with unique voice overs for owners to share their star cars with the world.
