Bielat Santore & Company Closing in on 500th Restaurant Sold!

The former La Cantina southwestern restaurant, located at 116 Third Avenue, Neptune City, New Jersey has been sold according to Richard R. Santore of, Bielat Santore & Company, Allenhurst, New Jersey, the broker for the sale. The new owners, Alan Grippaldi and Fabian Gomez are converting the restaurant and bar into a stylish sports bar featuring a tapas menu and sushi bar. “This area has not seen anything like the concept we are bringing to Neptune City,” says theme originator and promoter Grippaldi. “Jersey’s, as the new restaurant will be called, is going to be a sports and entertainment mecca offering food and drink not found in your typical New Jersey sports bar,” continues Grippaldi.

The menu is comprised of over 50 different hot and cold tapas items. Most of the tapas recipes are from Spain. Many of the products will be imported directly to the restaurant to maintain the authenticity of the dishes. Customers will have an opportunity to sample many things for dinner, while having drinks or watching their favorite team on one of the many huge flat screen televisions doming the bar. An exclusive Spanish wine list will be carefully designed by the owners. “Watch out for our homemade Sangria,” says owner Gomez, “it is a secret family recipe that will knock your socks off.”

In a unique twist to the common tapas bar menus customers may find throughout the state, Jersey’s menu will also incorporate a complete selection of handmade sushi. Conforming to the restaurant’s tapas oriented them, the portions and the menu will be arranged “tapas-style,” and customers will be encouraged to share and taste a variety of Japanese delicacies.

All sports all the time, lively music, a vibrant crowd, inventive cocktails, the finest tapas items of Spain and the best sushi this side of Tokyo…you can get it all at Jersey’s, Neptune City, New Jersey. Opening October 15, 2012, seven days for lunch, dinner and late night entertainment.
