Massachusetts insurance agency, Ross Insurance Agency, Inc., is thrilled to announce owner Maureen Ross O’Connell is the fifth finalist in Trupanion’s Pet Insurance Month 2012 Blog Contest.

In order for her entry to win $500, which she will donate to two Holyoke Public Schools – Kelly and Morgan, the agency is asking the local community to go to the blog entry here and scroll down to “Like” the entry on Facebook. Since the entry with the most Facebook “Likes” wins, this would be a huge help to getting the $500 donation.

The donation will help the Holyoke Public Schools reach their goal of getting 85% of their third grade students reading at grade level by 2014.

Since the contest ends on Friday, October 5, 2012, it’s imperative to get the vote out. Not only is this a great cause, it’s also a great read. The blog entry is all about Ross O’Connell’s story of how her pet dog, Tee, changed her life and the life of her family in a positive way.
