Adya’s award winning documentary, “State of Reflection: New Jersey Ten Years After 9/11” was televised on PBS stations in the New York metropolitan area on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in 2001. The project, which was inspired by Star-Ledger photographer Jennifer Brown’s video interviews with 9/11 families, examines how the tragedy has changed the physical and emotional landscape of New Jersey, and won a New York State Broadcasters Association Award for outstanding documentary in June of this year. The documentary will be shown at LIFF at 10:00 AM on October 12th at the Laughlin Stadium 9 Cinemas in theatre two.
