Innovate 2012 is a two day conference where nonprofit accounting professionals at every level will be inspired, develop skills, solve problems, and share knowledge. The goal of the conference is to empower attendees to innovate, and drive positive change within their organizations. The conference is organized by the JMT Consulting Group, a nonprofit consultancy.
Love’s presentation “The Scariest Metric in the Charity World,” will center on how to improve donor retention and loyalty. Attendees will learn best practices central to doubling the lifetime value of their donor database.

Love, who joined Avectra in August 2012, is a veteran technology executive working in the nonprofit sector. Love was co-founder and CEO of eTapestry online fundraising software which sold to Blackbaud in 2007. Prior to eTapestry, Jay served as president and CEO of Master Software Corporation (MSC), a provider of Fund-Master database products for the nonprofit sector. During his tenure at MSC, Jay was responsible for the implementation of nearly 12,000 nonprofit database systems all over the world. Love is a frequent speaker for the charity sector in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia and the United Kingdom.
