RDC Releases 5 New Courses as Part of ePILOT™ Online Training Series for EHS and Core Competency

First Aid Procedures, Job Hazard Analysis and Stop Work Authority, Hand Safety, DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing, Walking/Working Surfaces are new courses in the ePILOT libraries.

Resource Development Company (RDC) announces the addition of 5 new web-based learning programs in their ePILOT™ series. "First Aid Procedures" and "Job Hazard Analysis and Stop Work Authority" are added to the ePILOT™ Core Competency Library. "Hand Safety", "DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing", and "Walking/Working Surfaces" are now included in the ePILOT™ EH&S Library. The courses are now accessible via the internet for ePILOT subscribers.

The ePILOT Core Competency library contains over 150 learning programs with over 400 hours of online training. New in the ePILOT Core Competency Library:

"First Aid Procedures" helps learners respond safely and properly to events that require first aid treatment, such as eye and face injury, cuts and scrapes, concussion, bone fractures, sprains, burns, electrical shock, choking, and sudden illness.

"Job Hazard Analysis and Stop Work Authority" covers the purpose and advantages of a job hazard analysis, includes the steps involved in creating a job hazard analysis, the importance of safe work practices, and the purpose and advantages of Stop Work Authority.

The ePILOT EH&S library contains over 75 learning addressing federal mandates from OSHA, BSEE, DOT, EPA, NRC, & USCG. New in the ePILOT EH&S Library:

"Hand Safety" covers hand hazards, hand tool safety, machine guards, PPE, and how to complete a hazard assessment. It is designed to meet the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.138.

"DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing" covers safety-sensitive employees, the drug testing process and schedule, and consequences of refusal and positive results. It is designed to meet the training requirements of 29 CFR 40, Subparts A and B.

"Walking/Working Surfaces" is designed to teach learners about working safely around walking and working surfaces. It is designed to meet the training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.22 Subpart D.

Through the ePILOT Libraries, learners have anytime access to over 400 hours of training in a secure, hosted online environment. All ePILOT courses have been certified to stringent e-learning standards by the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and by the American Petroleum Institute (API). ePILOT is the first web-based operator training curriculum certified by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), allowing learners to earn Continuing Education Units (CEU).
