"We are proud and honored to welcome Chris, Cathie and Mark to our Board,” says Cella Irvine, CEO of Vibrant Media.
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 04, 2012
Vibrant Media, the global leader of in-content contextual technology, today announces the appointment of three new and notable Board members: Chris Ahearn, Cathie Black and Mark Zagorski. These advisers join a Board that includes Directors Craig Gooding, Wim Obbens, Ralph Terkowitz, and the company’s CEO, Cella Irvine; and Board Observers Deric Emry and Okko Filius.
These appointments mark another critical step in what has been a year-long expansion and evolution strategy at Vibrant Media. In September, the company announced an update and redesign of in-text, its pioneering ad product, in addition to a new generation suite of marketing solutions.
“We are proud and honored to welcome Chris, Cathie and Mark to our Board,” says Irvine. “Their talents and expertise, combined with those of our veteran Board members, will strengthen our position as we continue to look for innovative ways to serve the needs of consumers, brands and publishers in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. We have made considerable strides over the past year with the acquisition of Image Space Media, the introduction of a new suite of solutions that run on all platforms, and bold updates to our core in-text product.”
Chris Ahearn says, “I am excited to work with Cella and the Board as she takes the company to the next level with a stronger emphasis on innovation and visibility for brands. Vibrant has demonstrated clear market leadership and has tremendous growth potential.”
Cathie Black says, “Vibrant leads the industry with its contextual advertising technology and I feel privileged to be a part of such a talented group helping to guide the evolution of the company. I have long admired Cella and am encouraged by the significant new developments and brand solutions her team has brought to market.”
Mark Zagorski says, "I am honored and excited to be joining such an amazing group of professionals on the Vibrant Board. As a longtime fan of the company, and a true believer in the powerful combination of data and advertising, I look forward to the opportunity to help Vibrant continue to innovate and grow.”
Chris Ahearn is a venture partner at FirstMark Capital and chairman of Kevyn Aucoin Beauty.
