Collaboration at its best! DataRPM's Instant Analytics Platform adds unique real-time collaboration functionality for data sharing. DataRPM Collaboration functionality allows you to skip the water cooler conversations, waiting for the email responses and gets the people who need to know in the know at the fork in the road, not after a path is picked.

Collaboration Module

“What I'm most excited about is the ability to integrate disparate data in a meaningful and cost effective way and now have an ability to collaborate among our team globally,” states Ken Quaglio, COO of 3 Pillar Global.

DataRPM announces its unique functionality of a real-time collaboration functionality for data sharing within its Instant Analytics Platform. The Collaboration functionality gives users a real-time ‘chat like’ functionality embedded in reports, so discussions around data are timely, relevant, and trackable. This Collaboration functionality eliminates redundancy, manual tracking and multiple communication avenues about the same data. It eliminates the time lag for team members to review and respond to emails and the frustration of the email content being in one place while the data and reports are in another place, being updated before the entire e-mail chain is reviewed. DataRPM Instant Analytics users can start several discussion threads on reports, charts, or a specific data point within a chart.

“What I'm most excited about in DataRPM Instant Analytics platform is the ability to integrate disparate data in a meaningful and cost effective way and now have an ability to collaborate among our team globally,” states Ken Quaglio, COO of 3 Pillar Global. “This in turn allows us to better manage the business rather than it managing us. It's not a reporting tool, it's a business alignment and decision solution.”

“With Collaboration feature, analysts can instantly share their analysis on data or reports through interactive discussions,” said Ruban Phukan, co-founder and Chief Product Officer. “Business managers can share their questions, concerns or thoughts on their organization’s data and have the appropriate person in the organization respond to them. Teams can collaborate and discuss appropriate actions items based on data. Since all these discussions happen in-place and in context with the data it makes them highly effective compared to offline or email discussion threads.”

DataRPM Collaboration feature makes data reference intuitive and easy. Additionally, users can @mention other users on the project (like in social apps like Facebook or Twitter). Specific users can be addressed in a discussion thread and alerted via an automatic email. The discussions are chat-like and real-time enabling users to have live conversations about real data.

“Gone are the days of water cooler conversations, emails back and forth, paper trails everywhere to discuss data points," said Sundeep Sanghavi, CEO of DataRPM. ”In our continuous mission of disrupting the BI & Analytics market, the Instant Analytics Collaboration feature is a key differentiator from traditional way of data discussions and insights that have been shared within the organization.”
