Magic Happens Foundation Teams Up With the Theodore Roosevelt Association’s Teddy Bear Gift Program

Magic Happens Foundation over the weekend became a supporter of the Theodore Roosevelt Association’s (TRA) Teddy Bear Gift Program.

Terry Brown, Executive Director of the Theodore Roosevelt Association says, "Being alone in a hospital attached to machines and tubes is scary to a child. This holiday season a few hundred children will not be alone. They will have their own teddy bear. This foundation has made that magic happen."

The TRA provides Teddy Bears to children in hospitals across the nation who are undergoing medical treatments. More than 80,000 teddy bears have been distributed by the TRA since 1986.

Magic Happens Foundation President Daniella Cippitelli Abruzzo says, “The TRA is a perfect fit to help support little cancer patients who cannot be part of fitness programs”.

Abruzzo will be running a half marathon in Disney World, FL in February 2013 all proceeds raised will go towards the Teddy Bear efforts.
