Cody Ludvik, a Clarkson LASIK patient, is the winner of 4 season tickets to the 2013 Cardinals season.

Clarkson Eyecare gave away a set of four 2013 Cardinals season tickets to one lucky patient at Monday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds. Cody Ludvik of St. Peters, MO was the grand prize winner.

Clarkson has partnered with the Cardinals for the past eight years on this ticket giveaway. The contest was open to the public from April 13th through September 30th. Entries were made at or in any of Clarkson’s 57 offices. More than 3,000 people registered for the raffle and 12 finalists were randomly chosen among them. These finalists were invited, along with a guest of their choosing, to attend the ballgame on Monday, October 1st to be part of the pre-game ceremony on the field at Busch Stadium.

Representatives from Clarkson Eyecare included Dr. James Wachter, Chief Professional Officer; Tesha Peel, Director of Marketing; and Jessica Tobin, Public Relations & Marketing Manager. Dr. Wachter has been with Clarkson for 20 years and says, “It is great getting the opportunity to meet patients from offices across our company and join in their excitement on the field at Busch Stadium.”

Fredbird, the Cardinals mascot, chose Cody’s name from the 12 finalists. Cody had LASIK with Clarkson in 2007, a choice he would “absolutely recommend to anyone considering it.” He goes on to say, “I had consultations at a few other places but no one came close to the professionalism of Clarkson Eyecare.” Cody entered the contest online and cannot believe his luck. “I want to thank Clarkson and the St. Louis Cardinals for this opportunity,” he says. Cody’s wife Janice accompanied him to the game. They are both very excited for the 2013 Cardinals season.
