The world’s first perforated cutting board, FLOW, has successfully reached its Kickstarter funding goal of $25,000 and is now guaranteed to be in your kitchen in the near future. With 11 days left to go in the campaign, Simpleware hopes to reach new stretch goals.
Once FLOW’s Kickstarter campaign began on September 4, backers couldn’t order enough of them. The early bird special, a FLOW perforated cutting board and tray for $20, quickly sold out and backers began suggesting new rewards such as colors and multiple family packs.
Founders Ola Ahlmen and Peter Hauser have listened to their supporters and given them what they ask for. Backers wanted more colors, so Ahlmen and Hauser offered four more colored boards all to use with different types of food to avoid cross-contamination.
“I am nothing short of thrilled to be able to tell backers that we will most likely have FLOW perforated cutting boards in their kitchens by the holidays,” says Hauser. “The fact that we can now promise FLOW to supporters is extremely gratifying and worth all of the months of hard work.”
With 9 days left in the campaign, it’s not too late to order a FLOW perforated cutting board for just $25. For more information on FLOW or to pre-order your very own, visit the project’s Kickstarter site here: http://bit.ly/FlowKS.
