Allentown, PA (PRWEB) October 08, 2012

ProModel Corporation, a leading provider of simulation software and predictive analytic solutions, today announced that the US Army awarded ProModel the next option year under the contract that will continue service on the DST (Decision Support Tool). This custom software is used by Army Materiel Command (AMC) to lead stakeholders through the planning and execution of materiel distribution and redistribution.

DST is an unclassified, web-based collaborative tool that support’s AMC's role as the Army's Lead Materiel Integrator (LMI). DST provides LMI with the capability to visualize total equipment demand and all supply sources over time in support of Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN). The powerful sourcing engine matches validated, prioritized equipment demands with available Army inventory in depots, non-deployed units, and other sources. It provides the ability to run different Courses of Action to evaluate and tradeoff multiple equipping options. These options will help equipment managers consider the impact of delivery times and transportation costs and the long term effects of any decision, enabling the LMI to create better sourcing solutions based on policy and Army priorities.

ProModel serves the United States Federal Government and Department of Defense by providing innovative and adaptable custom and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) technologies and professional services that help commands synchronize operational needs, mitigate risk, and optimize resources.

“ProModel is very pleased that the Government awarded the next option to further develop DST, and we are excited to continue providing the Army with our innovative decision support technology,” said Keith Vadas, President and CEO, ProModel Corporation.
