We give our customers value for their money by enhancing the customer experience through 3-D computer technology, custom manufacturing, and our unyielding focus on customer service.

Closet America, a leading home professional closet organization manufacturer and installer headquartered in Lanham, Maryland, announced that the company has earned a spot on the 23rd Annual WOOD 100 Report of fast-growing North American woodworking companies. With over a 44% increase in sales in 2011, Closet America appears at number 11 on the list. This is their second year in a row to appear as the highest ranked closet company on the list.

Wood & Wood Products magazine, a publication of Woodworking Network, said, “North American woodworking industry firms that are succeeding are best described by two words: ‘flexible’ and ‘resilient.’ Hard hit by not only the economy but by low-cost imports, these firms are doing whatever it takes to not only survive, but succeed.”

This is the third year in which Wood & Wood Products magazine expanded the parameters of the WOOD 100 not only to recognize sales growth, but also to pay tribute to those companies that have grown better. They highlighted a select few companies from the list in the September 2012 issue and featured Closet America’s technology integration. The magazine noted, “Investments in technology are helping today’s woodworkers to be leaner, greener and expand their production capabilities, thereby spurring growth in their businesses. New opportunities await those companies that have the organization in place to accomplish this.”

Skip LaBella, president of Closet America, was proud to appear on this year’s list, and remarked on the reasons behind Closet America’s continued growth. “We give our customers value for their money by enhancing the customer experience through 3-D computer technology, custom manufacturing, and our unyielding focus on customer service. Our factory team concept oversees projects from beginning to end, and our ‘screen-to-machine’ approach combines design, engineering and manufacturing for a very positive customer experience.” LaBella notes that the company’s success would not be possible without the dedication of his employees. “Achieving this level of professionalism and receiving this honor is possible because customer satisfaction is a team effort at Closet America. I'm extremely proud of all of our people here who contribute to that on a daily basis. Having that effort formally recognized is a proud moment for our entire staff.”
