Convoy of Hope has won the American Airlines national online video contest, Flights. Camera. Action., capturing a grand prize of 80 domestic round-trip tickets on American Airlines, plus other prizes including showing the video on all flights, advertising for Convoy of Hope on American Way, the airline’s in-flight magazine and on AA.com.
“This is an honor for us,” says Jeff Nene, national spokesperson for Convoy of Hope. “This will not only affect the work we’re doing here in the U.S., but will allow us more travel opportunities in our efforts to feed children around the world.”
Convoy of Hope’s one-minute video beat out hundreds of other submissions in three categories: non-profit, established businesses and start-up businesses. The video highlights Convoy of Hope’s work around the world to help those less fortunate. Thousands of Convoy of Hope supporters voted for the video online where it won its category and was then judged by a panel, beating out videos in the other two categories.
