What happens when a real repo dude meets a retired, wounded Marine Corps combat commander? In author Donnie Dunagan’s Border Repo, readers can follow Donnie’s reports of Repo –Charley’s earlier operations in grim harm’s way, along the border with Mexico.

In this biographical account, the author shares how he met Repo-Charley and how they became like adopted brothers. Charley initially had no idea about Dunagan’s background and he never imagined the tough former marine to be the original voice of Bambi. He didn’t know about his friend co-starring in major classics like Son of Frankenstein, or about his boxing, football, or quarter century in the hard-guts of the Marine Corps. Yet the two men, despite coming from very different backgrounds and cultures, found a mutual trust and respect.

Over time, Dunagan and Charley sensed common strengths and the Border Repo life story was born. These two hardscrabble men from radically different worlds, team up like brothers to present Border Repo, with more to come. Readers can follow their exciting albeit dangerous adventures, the background for their now getting into the business of doing things that others need done, sometimes desperately and sometimes in grim circumstances.
