As more people look to get training and education online, information marketers and online training experts are ramping up their efforts to attract these new customers. The level of professionalism that has come into the online marketing business over the last few years is remarkable and it continues develop daily.
One area that online marketing professionals have always focused their attention on is the sales page. The online sales page has evolved over the last few years from a static recreation of direct marketing's long form sales copy to take advantage of the unique elements the web offers. Online sales pages are now a multimedia mixture of graphics, video and sales copy pulled together in exciting new ways.
Des Lau is a graphic designer who's been on the cutting edge of graphical sales page design for the past year and he recently released his new product, WSO Sales Letter Generator.
WSO Backstage host Sean Kaye interviewed Lau and discussed the growing trend in creating dynamic sales pages that both inform and educate the potential customer.
During the interview, Lau was asked what makes for a successful sales page and he said, "It is really important to do design for the medium and for your market, it really is an art form to getting that right."
Lau has worked extensively in graphic design agencies, with traditional offline clients and more recently, with successful online clients and his product stems from that background.
"The WSO Sales Letter Generator is an application software where you can create these graphical sales letters, and it' s all formatted for you and you’ve got a choice of stylising your fonts and what graphics to insert in from my library. The whole point of this system is to make things fast and easy for a product creator to come up with a sales page that looks the goods, so it’s a fill in the blanks style, customising a sales letter through graphics," explained Lau.
WSO Sales Letter Generator is available now and is sold by a monthly subscription fee which allows the users to get product updates and graphics as soon as Lau updates the product.
