North Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) October 09, 2012

Up-and-coming actors Laura Hunter and Matt Drago made their way from Front Royal, VA to Hollywood, CA. Since their cross-country move, they have performed in national and international commercials, television shows, and a string of award-winning independent films. In 2012, they created a production company which launched several successful web series—including a web pilot that was screened at the VidCon 2012 conference in Anaheim, CA. Most recently, Hunter and Drago signed with a theatrical agent at RPM Talent, and a commercial agent at Berman/Sacks Talent Agency.

Before moving to Los Angeles, Hunter and Drago went to college in New York City (at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and Marymount Manhattan College, respectively) where they studied acting. Coincidentally, before knowing each other, they both took an advanced film acting class at New York’s T. Screiber Studios with soap opera director Peter Miner. In this class, they were selected as scene parters, and discovered shortly after working together that they had grown up just three blocks away from each other all the way back in small town Front Royal, VA. They have been together ever since.

Both Hunter and Drago attribute much of their love for performing and the arts to the strong foundation provided by their early education in Virginia. Hunter is a graduate of Notre Dame Academy (now Middleburg Academy, Middleburg, VA) and Powhatan School (Boyce, VA.) Drago graduated from Fauquier High School (Warrenton, VA), and was a proud participant in the Virginia Governor’s School in theatre and vocal performance.

Among many upcoming projects, Hunter and Drago are currently working with acclaimed playwright/screenwriter Samantha Macher (also a Virginia native) on an as-yet untitled feature film, based on their mutual experiences growing up in the area, slated to shoot in Northern Virginia in the fall of 2013.

More information on upcoming projects for Hunter and Drago can be found on their official websites: http://www.misshunter.com and http://www.mattdrago.com.
