This book marks the beginning of a new season in my life. Sometimes, things happen in life and your plans don’t exactly turn out the way you thought they would, or even expected.

Kathleen-Ann Quenneville offers her new poetry collection “Heart Whispers: Conversations of the Heart, a Book of Poems” (published by iUniverse) to readers to offer them inspiration, and to remind them that there is always hope.

Perhaps the best summary of “Heart Whispers” can be found here, excerpted from the book’s dedication:

“This book marks the beginning of a new season in my life. Sometimes, things happen in life and your plans don’t exactly turn out the way you thought they would, or even expected. All you can do is learn from those experiences and move on. Regardless of what you go through, it doesn’t matter the magnitude of your hardship, if you trust God, He will absolutely restore what the locust has stolen. If you are willing to hand over everything to Him, your losses, your pain, your bitterness, even your winning moments along life’s travel, He will change the bad experiences for good ones, He will make the good ones better. He will give you double for your trouble.”

“I know my book is timeless,” Quenneville says. “Many will see themselves in the poems I have written.”
