Pass Time Software Launches Placard+ iOS Applications

Pass Time Software announced today the release of an upgrade for its iPhone application called Placard+ and Placard+ Free. The Placard+ products allow the user to search for and examine emergency response guides for hazardous materials. In addition, the application provides users with a graphical guide for identifying unnumbered placards and transport containers by size and shape.

Features of Placard+ include:

-- Search for hazardous material by UN number, or name

-- View emergency response guides for specific and general classes of hazardous materials

-- Visual guides for rail car and road car transport containers, including links to corresponding response guides

-- Instructions for safety guidelines, who to call in an event of an emergency, and a variety of text reference

The 2.0 upgrade contains a complete update of the database to the 2012 Emergency Response Guidebook. Placard+ Free is available at no cost and includes the 2008 ERG data.
