Today the Applied Voice Input Output Society (AVIOS) announced the publication of the AVIOS Catalog of Tools for Developing Speech-enabled Mobile Applications on the AVIOS website http://www.avios.org/

Mobile application developers will find this catalog useful to identify tools which they can use to develop speech-enabled applications easier. The catalog is a list of APIs, frameworks, platforms, simulators, and code generators for developing speech-enabled applications targeted for mobile devices. For each entry, the catalog contains product names and descriptions, vendor names and contact information.

The Applied Voice Input Output Society (AVIOS) is a not-for-profit private foundation founded in 1981. AVIOS provides a forum for promoting practical applications of advanced speech technology, such as speech recognition, text-to-speech synthesis, and speaker authentication, along with supporting technologies such as natural language interpretation and knowledge representation. AVIOS organizes the Mobile Voice Conference annually in collaboration with TMA Associates, continuing a long tradition of AVIOS conferences.
