The new building will give one of the largest records management businesses in the industry a new permanent home in the city and will serve as a hub for document imaging, tape vaulting, shredding, file management and storage.

COR365 Information Solutions, a North Carolina-based firm specializing in the management and storage of business records, today announced it has purchased an 81,000-square-foot building in Charlotte’s Hart Business Park.

The company has invested an estimated $4.8 million in the site, including $3.3 million for the initial purchase and another $1.5 million for renovations and upgrades.

With nearly 1,200 clients, COR365 Information Solutions is one of the largest records management businesses in the industry. The company stores and manages more than 1.3 million cubic feet of paper records and 250,000 electronic backup tapes. It shreds and recycles 2,400 tons of paper annually and can capture and store more than 18 million document images each year, accessible via secure online access.

The purchase of a new building will provide COR365 with a permanent Charlotte home. The company previously leased space in Ridge Creek Business Park.

The new site at 5417 Wyoming Avenue is near Interstate 485 in the southwest portion of the city, with easy access to the entire greater Charlotte business community. It is outfitted with a 1,450-square foot data protection vault and with a records center that can store and manage 500,000 cubic feet of boxes. The site features a sophisticated fire protection system, around-the-clock security monitoring and areas that are both temperature and humidity controlled.

Chris Kelley, CEO of COR365 Information Solutions, says the investment in Charlotte is driven by demand from the company’s clients for document imaging, tape vaulting, shredding, file management and storage.

“We’ve found Charlotte to be a great market for the complete complement of information management solutions we deliver,” Kelley says. “Businesses have discovered that we can help them streamline their operations and lower their costs, while delivering a level of customer service unmatched in the industry.”

  •     New Name for an Established Company

When COR365 Information Solutions entered the Charlotte market in 2008, it was known as DataChambers Records Management. The new COR365 name was prompted by the sale of a former sister company, also called DataChambers, to North State Communications.

  •     Open House Planned

COR365 Information Solutions plans an open house at its new Charlotte home from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 25. Two of the company’s mobile shredding trucks will be on hand during the event to offer free shredding services. For more information contact our Charlotte customer service at 704-588-5510.
