McLaughlin is a 2004 graduate of the University of Baltimore, School of Law. She is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Maryland. McLaughlin serves on a number of local boards, including the Army Alliance, University of Baltimore Foundation, Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center Foundation, Harford Business Innovation Center, Giving Spirits Foundation and Spirit of Hope Children’s Foundation. Additionally, McLaughlin is a current member and immediate past President of the National Association of Women Business Owners – Baltimore Regional Chapter.
