The UNCF Empower Me Tour Presented by Wells Fargo, a free, traveling college-and career-readiness road show will make its second tour stop for the 2012-2013 season in Minneapolis, MN on Saturday, October 13, 2012. A program of UNCF (United Negro College Fund), the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization, the UNCF Empower Me Tour Presented by Wells Fargo will be hosted by Ledisi, Boris Kodjoe, Kim Coles, Lamman Rucker and Jeff Johnson. The tour targets minority middle, high school and college students and parents, empowering them through career and college readiness seminars, personal development workshops and subject-matter expert and celebrity led panel discussions. The tour also provides assistance for students and parents around planning and saving for college, college and career success and leadership development.

Who: Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Ledisi, actor and comedian Kim Coles, attorney and radio host Warren Ballentine, Olympic Silver Medalist Lashinda Demus and more.
