Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 09, 2012
Solstice Mobile, an enterprise mobile application strategy and development firm, launched today MiTeam, an app for simplifying coach, parent and player communications for Little League and other youth sports teams. The app is available now for Android, iPhone and mobile web users.
The app represents somewhat of a departure from what Solstice typically focuses on; Solstice has made its name building enterprise applications for large corporate clients, such as Redbox and Sprint.
MiTeam was developed on behalf of David DiMarco, the late brother-in-law of Solstice founder and president J Schwan, who passed away in 2012 from Mesothelioma. MiTeam was DiMarco’s vision, a dream stemming from his own dedication to sports and athletic children, and a desire to see Solstice create an app that could make families’ lives easier.
“MiTeam taps into the power of mobile technologies to bring teams, families, coaches and fans together, encouraging them to share photos, schedules and scores,” said Schwan. “As Dave made us promise, MiTeam is free, and it always will be. We can’t wait to continue adding more features to achieve his dream.”
