INTTRA, the world’s largest, most active network for ocean shipping, announced today the release of its Shipping Application Delivery Platform for rapidly integrating and deploying individual INTTRA applications from within existing logistics, transportation management or ERP systems. Now shippers and software providers for the shipping industry can quickly and economically embed INTTRA’s capabilities to extend and enhance their own shipping solutions. Additionally, the company announced the availability of INTTRA Booking through this new architecture, which enables members of the INTTRA network to access the full range of application features - initiating, amending, canceling and tracking ocean bookings - at a fraction of the time and cost of developing a full-scaled booking application themselves.
This is the second in a series of releases that enable shippers to deliver shipping transaction capabilities as well as full integration with the INTTRA network to transact with over 40 carriers and NVOCCs. Last month, INTTRA announced the ability to embed the OceanSchedules solution through the Application Delivery Platform, giving shippers access to more than 7 million global schedules from 31 carriers.
