Provo, UT (PRWEB) October 09, 2012
Property Solutions International, Inc., the largest provider of property management websites and payments, was recognized by the 2012 W³ Awards in three categories for an online video which launched the announcement of their new property management software, Entrata. Featuring a humorous depiction of the multifamily residential industry’s chronic frustrations with property management software providers, the video entitled "Entrata: Braveheart" parodies the 1995 Mel Gibson film, complete with a theatrical rally for organized insurgency, prominent theme of freedom, and charismatic male figure with long locks and dramatic war paint. The video was directed by accomplished editor and cinematographer A. Todd Smith, whose work has been honored by various institutes of film including the National Emmy Foundation and International Documentary Awards.
"Entrata: Braveheart" was awarded gold in the categories Web Video: Comedy Short and Branded Content: Promotional/Branding, as well as silver in Branded Content: Business to Business. Property Solutions ranked alongside campaigns for National Geographic, Hasbro, Starbucks, and Intel, among others. The W³ Awards are sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), who annually receive over 3,000 entries created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide. Property Solutions’ award-winning video can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/entrata along with several other promotional videos which were released in conjunction with the company’s announcement of Entrata.
“We are honored to once again recognize creative excellence on the Web, and are humbled to witness all the amazing work being done,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the IAVA. “From everyone at the Academy, we congratulate our 2012 W³ Award entrants and winners for their contributions and commitment to the online world in which we live.”
Property Solutions Director of Marketing Chris Brasher commented, “We’re very excited about the reception our message has received, not only within the multifamily industry but also expanding to a broader public audience, as we see evidenced with these honors from the IAVA. Throughout the campaign our efforts were driven by the needs and concerns of our customers, which I believe accounts for its success. We understood our audience.”
Presented as the property management software alternative that helps professionals “break free” from costly, outdated technology, Entrata first appeared on the multifamily scene in April 2012. The origins of Entrata and its affiliation with Property Solutions were concealed in a 12-week misdirection campaign that culminated in June at the National Apartment Association Education Conference & Exposition. Currently in beta, Entrata is the first property management software built on a single database with property management, portals, accounting, CRM, screening, utilities, and insurance, all under one login.
