Dallas, TX (PRWEB) October 10, 2012
MoveForFree.com, an apartment locating company that offers free moves, has announced growth of five percent over the past year. Dallas occupancy rates are the highest they’ve been in more than a decade.
In one year, as reported by alndata.com, the overall occupancy of Dallas multifamily units has increased 0.6 percent, higher than the state average and nationally, Dallas has the third most approved multifamily units planned for the future at 8,554.
“The growth of the Dallas population has shown to be lucrative, not only in the areas around our major colleges and universities, but also in the growth of metro and rural areas,” said MoveForFree.com co-owner Bubba May.
MoveForFree.com has seen its company grow as with the increasing population of Dallas and the budding student market. Dallas is the ninth largest city in the United States and the third largest in Texas with a population of 1,223,229. According to O’Connor & Associates, 15,050 units are in the construction pipeline, spread over 56 projects. More than 22 percent of the units (3,415) are current pre-leasing.
