Boulder, Colorado (PRWEB) October 09, 2012
The Boulder County Business Report recently held its 13th annual Innovation Quotient (IQ) Awards, and the Center for Resource Conservation was selected as the nonprofit winner for its Garden-In-A-Box Program. Connect First, a Boulder tech company with strong ties to the non-profit community, was the proud sponsor and host, and honored to give the award to the Center.
"We truly appreciate the recognition the I.Q. awards bestows on the Center for Resource Conservation,” said Keith Frausto, Executive Director, CRC. “The Garden-In-A-Box epitomizes the people-planet-profit approach and we hope to expand and spread this water-saving product in the coming months. It's also impressive that the IQ awards include non-profits, in recognition that innovation is not confined to the private sector."
Connect First is a successful and award winning technology company, and a strong showing comes from community involvement. “At our core, we care about solving problems for folks,” said Richard Manulkin, President, Connect First. “Like many of our business solutions, The-Garden-In-A-Box is brilliant in its simplicity and the elegance in which it solves problems for the end user.”
Connect First was selected as a finalist for the IQ Awards in the business services category, specifically for its outstanding innovation for Cloud Routing. With Connect First Cloud Routing, calls can be routed to multiple distributed contact centers or assigned to secondary queues such as IVR, or specialized ACD skill groups. Connect First Cloud Routing is 100% on demand, and offered as a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution.
“Innovation in the Boulder Valley is stronger and more exciting than it’s ever been,” said Christopher Wood, publisher of the Boulder County Business Report. “We are extremely pleased to once again honor the most-innovative products and services in Boulder and Broomfield counties.”
