(PRWEB UK) 9 October 2012
Whittard of Chelsea, a traditional English tea and coffee shop, are currently running a competition on Facebook offering a three-night stay at a five-star Grange London hotel in the centre of the capital.
This competition is being held to celebrate the launch of the ‘Globe on Screen’ season. This is the limited cinematic run of several theatrical productions, recorded in Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre last year. These include: ‘All’s Well That Ends Well,’ ‘Much Ado About Nothing,’ both by Shakespeare, as well as Christopher Marlowe’s satanic classic, ‘Doctor Faustus.’
In addition to the stay in luxury London accommodation, Whittard is offering: a guided tour of the world-famous and historic Globe theatre, two tickets to a future production, and £500 towards travel expenses for the winner and a guest.
The competition began last month (September 24), and finishes later this month on October 14.
The form for entry into the competition can be found on the Whittard Of Chelsea Facebook page.
The challenge is to complete this famous quote (in your own words) from ‘Much Ado About Nothing’: ‘I do love nothing in the world so well as…”
There have been hoards of entries so far, ranging from the honest: ‘a steak and kidney pie and a pint of Hobgoblin,’ the bizarre: ‘a tub of custard and a table tennis bat,’ the hopeful: ‘winning a competition!’ and the flattering: ‘a Whittard original cup of tea.’
There is still plenty of time to enter and win this fabulous and cultural prize so log in to Facebook and take part today. Whittard looks forward to reading your entries.
