Upon hearing about the new Facebook tests, RCBryan and Associates immediately released word that they will be giving away free consultations on social media and how to use it for marketing purposes. According to the Washington Post, the Facebook feature “Collections” is being tested, and includes a “Want” and “Collect” button. According to a report on TechCrunch, one third of Facebook users will be seeing each of the buttons in order to test them out.
The collections look much like photo albums, and can be used by business owners to promote products and services. When users select the “want” or “collect” button on a product, it will show this activity to a network of their friends. In this way, the update would be a lot like Pinterest, as it allows users to visually select things they want to share with their social network. Instead of pinning something, they decide to click “want” or “collect”, which then determines how the product is shared with their network.
“As social media marketing is already on the rise, this kind of update to Facebook could be a game-changer,” remarked Roger Bryan, the founder of RCBryan and Associates. “We have already advised many on social media marketing techniques via Pinterest and Facebook’s current features, so the staff at RCBryan and Associates is dedicated to assisting with the use of this groundbreaking new feature as well.”
Roger Bryan and his marketing company RCBryan and Associates are based out of Cleveland, OH, and are happy to give in-person consultations for those that are located in the area. For those outside of Cleveland, the firm specializing in internet marketing services offers free phone consultations as well.
