AXPONA on Its Upcoming 2013 Audio Show: “... A great future for Chicago”

Audio Expo North America (AXPONA) Founder Steve Davis declared that, with news that their next show scheduled for March 8-10, 2013 at the Doubletree Hilton O’Hare reaching over 70% in exhibitor space sales, and attendee ticket sales exceeding expectations, “AXPONA offers a great future for Chicago.”

AXPONA marks a return of the once-lost tradition of Audio shows to the Windy City, which began with the Chicago Audio Show, and later the Summer Consumer Electronic Shows (SCES); the latter event concluded its run in the mid 1990’s. With AXPONA now poised to enter the Chicago market with its first show in over fourteen years, the time was right to raise the bar after their previous show successes.
“AXPONA was designed as an oasis for committed music lovers,” Mr. Davis said. “With our four successful shows under our belt in Jacksonville, Atlanta and New York City, we gave audiences a chance to see all the major players available in one easily accessible location. Now, with the upcoming Chicago show, we can now offer a true high end audio show with all the components needed to entertain and educate that sect of the market that still cares about the way music is supposed to sound, and even more importantly, how it is supposed to make you feel.”
AXPONA’s decision to choose Chicago was quickly endorsed by Music Direct, one of the nation’s best known Audiophile retailers, who has committed its resources to help promote AXPONA’s next show.
