MINNEAPOLIS, MN (PRWEB) October 10, 2012
Multi-Tech Systems, a leading global manufacturer of M2M (machine-to-machine) communications solutions, announces an entire line of products to be powered by Telit Wireless Solutions modules. These new offerings will provide faster communication speeds and longer lifecycles. Customers can select either HSPA+, which offers penta-band frequency allowing true global connectivity, or EV-DO cellular technology. With more features and options from which to choose, customers can secure the most cost-effective product for their solution.
Customers will also notice the bold new chassis designs. “We offer innovative designs and innovative solutions, so our products should highlight the brand and who we are as a company,” said Michael Gustafson, vice president of marketing for Multi-Tech. “Plus, aligning ourselves with Telit and utilizing its high-quality cellular modules, we are able to ensure that our customers’ M2M deployments benefit from a long life in the field and superior connectivity options, contributing to the overall success and ROI of their solutions.”
Multi-Tech and Telit combined solutions create more robust and differentiated solutions for customers. The new products include two versions of an intelligent wireless router with new form factors and enhanced features, a USB cellular dongle designed and built for OEM quality M2M solutions, a Mini PCI Express embedded cellular modem and 3G models of its SocketModem line of embedded cellular modems with Universal Socket connectivity. Gustafson adds, “We are truly excited to be bringing to market these Telit-powered solutions. When you pick the right partner, you’re stronger together.”
Samples of the new Multi-Tech solutions will be featured in the Telit Wireless Solutions booth #435 in the M2M Zone at MobileCon, formerly known as CTIA Applications & Enterprise, in San Diego this week.
