iRunway, a technology research firm specializing in litigation support and patent portfolio analysis, has expanded its consulting team in the United States and moved to a new and larger facility in Austin, TX, to accommodate the growth. The firm also opened another office in Denver, CO, to address the client needs in that region.

iRunway, which uses intricate product and source code analyses to help corporations and law firms unlock and protect the value of technology patents, recently relocated from its downtown office to Lost Creek in Austin. iRunway also has offices in Palo Alto, CA, and in Bangalore, India.

iRunway has increased its consulting team in Austin from 11 to 25 during the past four months. The company also has brought on Dallas Martin, an intellectual property, licensing and legal expert, to serve as senior vice president and general counsel in the U.S.

“As iRunway completes its sixth anniversary, we continue to invest ahead of the curve and enhance our capabilities to serve our clients in the United States and abroad,” said Shashank Kabra, Chief Operating Officer of iRunway. “The need for advanced technology patent research is growing swiftly, and we will continue to provide the most powerful analysis to the technology and IP community."

The new facility enables the firm to explore creation of new labs in semiconductor, telecommunications and other technology areas. These labs will be used for research and also serve the clients with ‘evidence of use’ analysis in licensing and litigations. There is a growing need for this research as companies seek to monetize and protect their intellectual property.

iRunway’s deep technology expertise enables clients to identify and isolate critical technical evidence to support infringement or non-infringement theories, thus improving litigation outcomes. Since 2006, iRunway has helped its clients achieve over $700 million in favorable settlements and jury verdicts.
