RoomMates Set to Launch New Wall Shelf and Hook Collections

RoomMates is taking its line of wall décor to a whole new dimension with the announcement of its new ONE décor line. This clever collection, created by designer Estela Lugo, is a modular decorating system consisting of basic shelves, hooks and wall decals. These pieces combine to create one-of-a-kind, great looking, and functional wall décor.

“When shopping for my kids, I usually find myself saying ‘that’s beautiful, but what is its function?’ This line takes wall décor and puts it to work,” says Lugo, a designer and mother of two. “The collection keeps education, storage and affordability in mind. Both the shelf and hook are magnetic for extra display space, and when placed on a desk or table, the shelf even becomes a decorative bookend. You can change the designs as you please just by using a new set of wall decals.”

The line will debut on October 14 at the ABC Kids Expo in Louisville, KY. The shelf will retail for $18.49, and the coordinating hook will sell for $7.49. Matching wall decal sets, which can be used with or without shelves or hooks, will range from $15.49 to $41.49.
