Ronald McDonald House Charities Of The Capital Region is pleased to announce an upcoming event that will raise funds for the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program. On November 10th, 2012 at 8:00 p.m., comedian Bill Cosby will be performing at the Albany's Palace Theater. A portion of each ticket sold to An Evening With Bill Cosby will benefit the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program. The Care Mobile, operated by Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region in partnership with St. Peter's Health Care Services, provides comprehensive dental care to under served children in the Capital Region.
"The Care Mobile serves a total of six school locations throughout the year, providing comprehensive care to approximately 1,500 children annually," said Jeff Yule of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Of The Capital Region. "Ronald McDonald House Charities is proud to partner with St. Peter's Health Care Services, providing over $100,000 annually in direct financial support. Like all Ronald McDonald House Charities programs, no child is ever turned away for an inability to pay for the services provided."
Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a 40 ft long mobile dental office that is part of a school based program. The Care Mobile is equipped with two state of the art dental offices, where dentists, hygienists and medical professionals from St. Peter's Health Care Services provide comprehensive care.
