Cornerstone University will host its annual Fall Business Breakfast Oct.12 at 7:30 a.m. featuring three former elected officials who will speak on How Christian Businesses Ought to Engage Government in the Gainey Conference room on campus.

What is the right level of rhetoric? Slowing the wave of discord and fostering civility
When to cease support of a political candidate. How do we make an impact at the local, state and federal levels? Area business leaders will gather for a stimulating panel discussion
on the optimal mix of business and government,particularly at the state and local level.

Panelist include:
BILL HARDIMAN (Panelist)
Former Mayor of Kentwood and State of Michigan Senator.
DAVID LAGRAND (Panelist)
Former City Commissioner and state senatorial candidate.
Currently, a successful business owner and entrepreneur.
JOANNE VOORHEES (Panelist)
Former State Representative and longtime owner of a
family business.
