Auberge Resorts has been named the best hotel brand in the industry, as voted by business travelers in Condé Nast Traveler’s 15th Annual Business Travel Awards, published in the magazine’s October 2012 issue. Auberge Resorts not only received the highest score of any brand -- 94.4 out of 100 -- but also garnered the top score in the both the Rooms and Service categories, with scores of 96.4 and 96.7, respectively, topping global brands such as Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental and Peninsula Hotel Groups. More than 46,000 travelers responded to the survey; results are available online at: http://www.cntraveler.com/travel-tips/business-travel/polls/2012/best-business-travel-hotels-airlines
“It’s extremely gratifying that this recognition come from our guests who are among the world’s top CEOs and business leaders,” said Mark Harmon, CEO of Auberge Resorts. “We make it a priority to develop well-designed accommodations and deliver an unmatched service experience. We’re proud that a significant amount of our business is from repeat guests. It’s an honor for the Auberge Resorts brand to be recognized as the best of the best.”
Global Market Insite, Inc., of Boston conducted the survey by asking Condé Nast Traveler readers identified as business travelers to rate hotels, hotel brands and airlines on a variety of criteria.
Auberge Resorts feature spacious, private accommodations that are attractive to today’s traveler. Accommodations in the Auberge Resorts portfolio range from the private maisons at the Napa Valley flagship, Auberge du Soleil, to the rustic-contemporary guest lodges at Calistoga Ranch, also in Napa Valley, to the Inn at Palmetto Bluff’s cottage suites and village homes in Bluffton, S.C., and Esperanza’s oceanfront villas and casitas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
With exceptional meeting facilities, spectacular natural settings, culinary excellence and a wide range of 24-hour services, Auberge Resorts offers unique event spaces in each destination for business meetings and social events. In June, Esperanza, an Auberge Resort in Cabo San Lucas, served as the official host to President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and the members of the U.S. delegation during the 2012 G-20 Mexico Summit. President Obama and U.S. delegation representatives assembled at Esperanza on the eve of the summit for a briefing before the bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which also took place at the resort.
When the “business” part of a business trip is done, Auberge collection properties offer best-in-their-category diversions, from the Michelin-starred restaurants at Solage Calistoga and Auberge du Soleil, to championship golf courses at Pronghorn in Bend, Ore., and The Inn at Palmetto Bluff, and award-winning spas at every resort.
