Space Shuttle Endeavor Induction Party Featuring Los Angeles School of Gymnastics Rhythmic Gymnasts

This marks a historic event for the city of Los Angeles and the LASG Rhythmic Gymnasts

October 13th marks a momentous occasion for the city of Los Angeles as the Space Shuttle Endeavor makes its final voyage from Edwards Air Force Base to the California Science Center, where it will be retired. The Los Angeles School of Gymnastics has been selected to perform alongside Debbie Allen in the Space Shuttle Endeavor induction parade on October 13 at 2pm at the intersection of Crenshaw Blvd. and Martin Luther King Blvd. The nation will be watching and various news outlets will be there to provide updates surrounding the events. This event will be a great family parade and everyone is invited to cheer the LA School of Gymnastics rhythmic gymnasts in this historical event! On Saturday, October 13, 2012 people from all over the country will be witnessing the Space Shuttle Endeavor as it weaves throughout city streets onto its final resting spot at the California Science Center.

The 12-mile trek will begin at LAX in the early morning hours and slowly make its way to the CA Science Center. Those fortunate enough to be along the path and up early that morning will be able to be a part of history to see the shuttle up close and personal. Many events and festivities have been planned surrounding this amazing journey and Los Angeles School of Gymnastics is proud to be a part of such an historical occasion. Space Shuttle Endeavor has planned stops along its route. The best location will be at 3650 Martin Luther King Blvd. at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza where booths and a stage will be setup to watch LA School of Gymnastics Rhythmic Gymnasts at their best at 2pm on Saturday, October 13. It will be a celebration of both arts and sciences. We all hope to see you there and have a great time! Come early to reserve your seats.
