New mobile offering gives repairers more information to do more right from the shop floor

Since introducing our first mobile solution in late 2010, our repair customers have asked for more; more functionality and in more mobile formats.

Responding to repairers’ need for more functionality in the palm of their hands, CCC Information Services Inc. announced today the availability of CCC ONE™ Tablet – for use with the iPad® 3. This latest mobile release expands the CCC ONE™ Mobile solution by extending beyond the current smartphone functionality to the larger tablet device accommodating more information on the screen and allowing repairers to do more at the vehicle. CCC ONE Tablet offers productivity improvements for CCC ONE™ Repair Workflow users and comes included for all CCC ONE® customers as part of their current package. CCC’s mobile solutions are in use by more than 12,500 repairers.

Gone are the days of the clipboard and the camera at the car. Now users of CCC ONE™ Estimating can use their iPad® 3 to scan the VIN, capture administrative information and take photos all from the same device. And because CCC ONE is a hosted solution, the information captured is immediately available back at the estimator’s desk. CCC ONE Repair Workflow users can do even more with the CCC ONE Tablet, accessing production, parts and labor dashboards to manage all of their work-in-process and assign work based on individual roles from anywhere. The CCC ONE Tablet also includes the CCC ONE message center, taking inter-shop communications to the shop floor and eliminating the need for handwritten notes or informal reminders that can fall through the cracks.
