The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) is pleased to announce the finalists for a new national Career Guidance Award. This new ACTE award is sponsored by Kuder Inc., a provider of online solutions for career planning.

The finalists for the 2013 Career Guidance award are:

  •     Renae Brady, South Jordan, Utah
  •     Sharon Ann Hetherington, Waco, Texas
  •     Sarah Taylor, Milford, Ohio

Each Region Winner receives $500 and the National award winner receives an additional $500. This cash award is made possible by the generous contribution of Kuder, Inc.

"We are thrilled to join ACTE to recognize career counselors who work passionately to develop and implement career education programs that benefit students and adults across the country."

The winner of the Career Guidance Award will be announced at the Awards Banquet, a dinner and award presentation recognizing the best CTE educators in the country, which will take place on Wednesday evening, November 28 at CareerTech VISION 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The new Career Guidance Award is just one of several national ACTE Excellence Awards to promote excellence in career and technical education
