GreenQloud, the world’s first Truly Green™ public compute cloud (IaaS) and data storage service, today announced a partnership with Standing Cloud, a leading provider of cloud application marketplace and management solutions. The new offering, GreenQloud powered by Standing Cloud, enables users to more easily discover, deploy and manage applications on GreenQloud’s renewable energy-powered IaaS through a simple-to-use application marketplace.

Integrating directly with the GreenQloud infrastructure and its AWS-compatible API, the Standing Cloud Application Marketplace provides a catalog of applications, software, development tools and deployment options, all fully pre-configured to run instantly and reliably on GreenQloud.

Once an application is deployed, automated application lifecycle management features give GreenQloud customers an easy way to manage the application on a continuing basis, including monitoring, scaling, back-ups, upgrades, auto-restore and more. In addition to application management on Standing Cloud, GreenQloud’s Truly Green dashboard enables customers to monitor their carbon emissions savings, which can be incorporated into a company’s sustainability initiatives.

“GreenQloud’s partnership with Standing Cloud meets two of the most discussed industry demands: make application administration, management and deployment as simple as possible, and provide an IaaS solution that sets a benchmark standard for clean cloud practices,” said GreenQloud CEO, Bala Kamallakharan.

“GreenQloud’s commitment to providing IaaS cloud services run completely on renewable energy is unique in the industry,” said Standing Cloud CEO Dave Jilk. “With the addition of simplified hosting, installation and management, any user - with or without technical skills - can now easily run applications on GreenQloud, and do so knowing their deployment is powered by 100% renewable resources.”

Standing Cloud and GreenQloud will host a joint webinar on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 4pm GMT /11am EDT / 8am PDT. Click to REGISTER for the webinar.
