Driver availability will play a major role in the future of the industry. It is one of our biggest challenges.
Denver, CO (PRWEB) November 07, 2012
The American Trucking Association Management Conference and Exhibition was held October 7-10th in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 2012 ATA Conference had record attendance - understandably so, as the transportation industry has come to a crossroads. Regulatory pressures, driver availability, and equipment shortages were discussed as some of the key issues the industry faces. Prime Trailer Leasing attended the conference to engage other companies and work together to discuss the future of the transportation industry as it relates to semi trailer sales.
Prime Trailer Leasing employees attended the conference and focused their time on networking with other companies present, discussing future strategies and designing solutions for the future of the transportation industry. Prime Trailer Leasing has over 100 years of combined experience in the used semi sales market and used that experience to help others at the conference understand how used equipment plays a role in the transportation industry. In addition, Prime Trailer Leasing used the wealth of information available at the conference to better understand the needs of their customers.
“ Driver availability will play a major role in the future of our industry, “ states Randy Simpson, at Prime. “In particular - training, safety and driver retention will be some of the biggest challenges that will impact the industry as a whole.”
Prime Trailer Leasing is using the information provided at the conference to further refine and emphasize their customer service plans and availability of equipment in order to best meet their customers’ needs for both semi trailer sales and rentals.
